Workload: 50% (ideally spread over five weekdays)
The Dean of Studies organizes and coordinates the human medicine program and is the central interface to lecturers, students, clinics, institutes, and other university offices. We ensure the quality of the curriculum and support lecturers and students throughout the entire course of study. As part of the 2030 strategy, we continuously develop processes and services. As part of a planned succession, we are filling this position anew.
Your main tasks
- Overall administration of PBL (Problem-Based Learning) in the Bachelor of Human Medicine (1st–3rd year) including planning and timely implementation
- Tutor and peer tutor management: maintaining the pool including recruitment/acquisition, deployment and room planning, communication, and support
- Organization of PBL tutor training days including invitations, logistics, attendance management, on-site support, and follow-up
- Active participation in shaping changes in administrative processes including their digitization (data/list maintenance, templates, workflows, tools)
- Team support: flexible assistance to the bachelor team with other administrative tasks as well as willingness to take on other tasks if needed or during restructuring
Your profile
- Completed 3-year commercial training (or equivalent) and several years of experience as a clerk in a hub function – ideally in a university or clinical environment
- Very good MS Office skills; you learn new programs/tools quickly and work process- and detail-oriented
- Service- and customer-oriented, team-oriented with a hands-on mentality, high personal responsibility and organizational talent, resilience and flexibility even during peak times
- Confident German language skills, good English skills are an advantage
