The remedial education day school of the Nathalie Foundation supports and cares for children and adolescents with complex developmental disorders (multiple disabilities, sensory disorders, and autism spectrum disorders).
For one of our classes in Cycle 1, we are looking from 1 August 2026 for
a remedial educator at 38% and additionally fixed-term team teaching at 18%
Your tasks:
- You share responsibility with your job partner for the individual support of five pupils in a Cycle 1 class
- You plan your lessons independently and document according to internal guidelines
- You maintain close communication with the other class teacher and take on the key worker role for 2 pupils
- You work constructively with the interdisciplinary team, the boarding school, and the parents, and participate in school and quality development
- You attend internal professional consultations, training sessions, and events
- You supervise interns

- Fixed teaching hours: Wednesday 9.00 am – 4.00 pm, Thursday 9.00 am – 1.15 pm (in team teaching), Friday 9.00 am – 11.00 am

You bring with you:
- A completed qualification in clinical or school remedial education
- An independent and flexible personality with humour, empathy, and team spirit
- Experience working with people with complex disabilities/ASD
- Good knowledge of the Affolter model, TEACCH and/or AAC
- High resilience and enjoyment in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
