Role:
As an Operations Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic, you ensure the reliable operational readiness of our systems, machines, and technical equipment. You carry out overhaul and repair work, manufacture spare parts, and troubleshoot production equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform general overhaul work on systems, machines, and buildings
Repair and maintenance of sintering and pre-sintering furnaces including heating and insulation
Maintenance and servicing of compressors
Carry out periodic maintenance work
Manufacture spare parts by conventional turning and milling
Perform general machine repairs as well as monitoring and troubleshooting production equipment
Ensure optimal operational readiness of systems, machines, and devices
Support technical improvements and optimisations
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship in the mechanical field
Several years of professional experience in a technical environment is an advantage
Knowledge of conventional machining including turning, milling, and welding
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
Quick comprehension as well as reliable and team-oriented working style
Resilient, performance-oriented personality with a positive attitude and a touch of humour
