Job Description

As a Facility Coordinator at JYSK Switzerland, you support the implementation of our expansion and real estate strategy and ensure that our stores are optimally cared for and further developed. You work closely with internal interfaces as well as external partners and take on a central role between retail, construction and administration.

You bring commitment and have the following main tasks…

• Responsibility for the facility management of our stores as well as ensuring smooth operations
• Project management of all store projects (new openings, conversions, expansions and closures) including coordination of construction partners and internal stakeholders
• Contact person for landlords, administrations and external service providers as well as management of renovations and conversions
• Obtaining and evaluating quotes as well as ensuring costs, quality and compliance with JYSK standards
• Participation in the budgeting process including invoice and ongoing cost control
• Management of approval procedures and ensuring all necessary permits
• Monitoring of construction projects and support in topics such as safety, fire protection and operating costs
• Identification and implementation of optimisations to reduce energy and operating costs
• Support in site acquisition, ticket processing as well as administrative tasks including contract management

To be successful in the role, you ideally bring the following…

• Motivation to actively contribute to the success of JYSK Switzerland and take responsibility
• Flexible, structured and independent working style as well as willingness to travel with occasional hotel stays within Switzerland
• Technical or construction training or several years of experience in a comparable environment
• Experience in facility management is an advantage
• Organisational talent and the ability to manage several projects in parallel
• High initiative and pragmatic solution orientation
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills, French is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Valid B permit
