Our institution has developed over time into a modern centre for special education, which covers today’s needs in the special and social pedagogical field with a diverse range of services. Around 240 people work in the areas of special school, boarding school, therapy, integrative special educational measures, services and administration.

In the area of day special school, we run an individual offer on behalf of the public school office for six pupils of all ages in the Olten area.

For our small class Fuxbau (individual offer) in Ifenthal, we are looking for a

Certified Social Pedagogue for Individual Offer, 50-60%,

to start immediately or by arrangement, limited until 31.07.2027.

• Care & Support: You accompany our children and young people in everyday life, mainly in an individual setting (1:1) – both in the school building and during outdoor activities in nature.
• Teamwork & Promotion: You work closely with our school team and support the development of pupils’ self- and social competence.
• Action-oriented everyday life: You contribute to pupils experiencing their self-efficacy and laying the foundation for school learning in the small group.
• Nature & Experiential Education: Together with the team, you meaningfully link nature and experiential education with school content.

• Expertise & Further Training: Ideally, you have experience in school operations, working with children on the autism spectrum and/or attachment-based pedagogy.

• Working Hours: You are willing to work Monday to Friday mornings. Lunch supervision and some afternoons may also be possible.
• Driving Licence: You have a category B driving licence.
