Full-time Anaesthetic Nurse (100%)
Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/2026.777 / Contract type: Permanent full-time / Hours: Monday to Sunday according to schedule, earliest 7:00 am and latest 7:00 pm + day shift (7 am-7 pm) and night shift (7 pm-7 am) / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
Following the departure of the incumbent, we wish to fill this position to ensure continuity and quality of patient care in anaesthesia.
What will you be expected to do?
- Collaborate with various professionals to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
- Apply your expertise as a specialised anaesthetic nurse in various surgical and interventional medical specialties, in the operating theatre and associated areas
- Provide patient care by delivering autonomous nursing care with a focus on safety, efficiency and comfort
- Perform delegated medical acts and master the related technical procedures
- Work alongside anaesthetists during pre-, peri- and post-anaesthetic periods
- Use the electronic patient record and develop clinical assessment
- Ensure structured and effective handovers to doctors and care services
Who will you be working with?
What do we expect from you?
Essential requirements:
- Holder of a HES nursing diploma or equivalent recognised by the Swiss Red Cross and an EPD ES diploma as an expert in anaesthetic care or an equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in care and monitoring of patients in anaesthetic and surgical contexts
- Ability to quickly assess clinical situations and respond appropriately, especially in emergencies
- Rigour in applying hygiene, asepsis and safety rules
- Aptitude for multidisciplinary teamwork and clear, structured communication
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and adaptability in complex clinical situations
