Quality Assurance Specialist – Main Kitting

The Quality Assurance Specialist Kitting (Main and Airfoil) conducts visual inspections of parts, modules, and airfoils for transport damage. Documentation is checked for accuracy, and the required quantities of parts, modules, and airfoils are verified. SAP labels are created for unusable parts, modules, and airfoils, and bill of materials for customer documentation are prepared if necessary. The role ensures that all applicable standards are adhered to and that the technical Onlog documentation in SAP is correct and up to date.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections on CFM56 and PW4000 airfoils, parts, and modules for transport damage and quantity verification
• Create and maintain SAP documentation, including workshop orders, Onlog structures, labels for unusable material, and data updates
• Prepare installation documents, bills of materials, and customer documentation to support assembly and maintenance work
• Review LLP documentation (Life Limited Parts) and ensure correct part installation and traceability
• Coordinate material exchanges, returns, storage, and logistics activities in collaboration with the Material Coordination team
• Operate Bladis-4 software for weighing and balancing airfoils and approve technical and administrative tasks according to applicable procedures
• Ensure timely and high-quality task completion and promote continuous improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and 5S methods

Your Profile

• Completed technical vocational training or equivalent qualification
• At least three years of professional experience in a quality-oriented industry, preferably in the MRO environment (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)
• Strong quality and safety awareness with a careful, independent, and responsible working style
• Good communication skills, team orientation, and high self-discipline
• Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office. An existing Release-to-Service licence is advantageous; willingness to obtain one is expected
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
• Good German skills (at least B2) and English skills (at least B2)
