What is my role?

• Select measuring instruments according to the site’s needs and internal standards for polymechanical applications

• Define measuring methods for precision parts from CNC manufacturing

• Define suitable measuring positions for precision components

• Decision-making authority in measuring processes and selection of measuring instruments for highly precise components

• Ensure the integration of measuring instruments into the production of precision components

• Define the appropriate measuring environment for micromechanical components

• Support the realisation of capabilities (MSA) in the field of precision mechanics

• Ensure traceability of measurements according to quality standards

• Understand and apply GD&T dimensioning for precision parts

• Create operating instructions for measuring devices in the polymechanical environment

• Train and support employees on highly precise measuring devices

• Contribute to the improvement of measuring processes in precision production

• Support the processing of FSTR dossiers

• Collaborate with the MCC in the evaluation and standardisation of measuring instruments

• Create and standardise measuring programmes on: Keyence / Hexagon / Vertex for precision components

• Implement measures to ensure product availability

What do I need to be successful?

• Technical basic training EFZ as a polymechanic with additional qualification as a metrologist

• Experience in metrology for precision parts from polymechanics

• Proficiency in programming automatic measuring instruments for micromechanical components

• Proficiency in manual measuring instruments in the field of precision mechanics

• Solid knowledge of GD&T for precision applications

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Motivated and quality-conscious

• Analytical thinking skills for complex measuring processes

• Ability to be innovative and contribute new ideas for measuring processes

• Team player
