What you bring:

• Completed vocational training as an ICT specialist EFZ, telematics technician, or comparable qualification; further education HF/FH is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in planning, implementation, and operation of network and security solutions
• Sound knowledge of FortiGate or other NG firewalls
• Experience with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise switching and wireless solutions is an advantage
• Know-how in network architectures, routing, switching, VLAN, QoS
• Know-how in IT security, monitoring, and incident response
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, initiative, and high service orientation
• Correct appearance, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Driving licence category B

Your tasks:

• Design, implementation, and operation of modern network and security infrastructures
• Administration and optimisation of FortiGate firewalls and Alcatel-Lucent networks
• Conducting security and network audits
• Analysis and resolution of complex faults (2nd and 3rd level)
• Consulting and supporting customers on security strategies and best practices
• Creation and maintenance of system and security documentation
• Knowledge transfer within the team as well as mentoring of apprentices and junior engineers
