Make a difference for patients
We are looking for a motivated Biotech Manufacturing Technician USP to join our production team, based at our biopharmaceutical and chemical production site in Bulle, Switzerland.
About the role
As a Biotech Manufacturing Technician USP, you will ensure the upstream biotechnological production activities in a 5x8 shift, with the required timelines and quality necessary for the smooth operation of the processes.

Your activities:
- Ensure the production of our biological product according to the established schedule and with the required quality to maintain the continuity of operations.
- Ensure that the USP area and the operations performed within it comply with GMP regulations.
- Perform IPC tests.
- Fill out and/or verify production documents.
- Participate in the implementation of the necessary concepts for production activities and ensure their application.
- Participate in the creation and modification of production documentation: procedures, recipes.
- Maintain the area and its equipment in a clean state (cleaning).
- Intervene and resolve first-level problems in the production area and escalate them to the area manager.
- Follow HSE rules and particularly: adherence to procedures, wearing personal protective equipment, systematic use of safety elements, sorting and identifying waste, signaling leaks.
- Ensure a good integration of new colleagues and assist them in their training.
- Ensure rigorous traceability of training.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the production area.
Occasionally:
- Participate in validation batches for the launch of new products.
- Participate in testing activities during process equipment qualifications.
Interested? For this position, you must have the following training, experience, and skills:
- Technical training / HES Biotechnology / CFC laboratory technician in chemistry/biology, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of GMP and requirements related to the pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience and comfort with automation systems (user level).
- Flexibility (shift work/weekend/night 5x8).
- Following procedures and production methods. Able to provide careful and quality work.
- Very good communication skills.
- Strong team spirit.
- Logical and practical mindset.
- Good command of French (oral and written); English is a plus.
- Experience in the biotechnological, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
