Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales, and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at customers on time and in Baumer quality.

In the "Motion Control" team, rotary encoders, tilt and acceleration sensors are developed for industry, mobile machines, and railways. In this position, you work on the further development of our magnetisation systems and make a direct contribution to the technical performance of our products. You operate at the interface of physics and engineering and contribute your ideas from analysis to implementation.

What I drive

• Development and design of analogue and digital circuits for sensor and motion control applications
• Design and integration of electronic components considering cost, quality, and availability
• Creation of EMC-compliant layouts in collaboration with PCB design as well as design of power and control electronics
• Commissioning, testing, and validation of prototypes and series products as well as support for industrialisation
• Further development and optimisation of systems and processes (e.g. magnetisation) including integration of measurement and monitoring systems as well as technical support for production

What it takes

• Completed degree (FH/ETH/University) in electrical engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in hardware development, ideally in the field of sensor technology or industrial electronics
• Profound knowledge in circuit design as well as EMC-compliant design (e.g. with Altium Designer)
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style as well as enjoyment of teamwork
• Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
