About the job
In this newly created role, you will lead a diverse expert team and significantly shape the continuous development of FINMA's crisis arrangements and the supervised institutions. You also represent FINMA externally and thus strategically and visibly help shape the financial market supervision of tomorrow. In doing so, you make a significant contribution to the security and resilience of the financial system.
Main tasks
- Leadership and further development of a diverse team of five specialists
- Content responsibility for regulatory projects in close cooperation with partner authorities
- Development and quality responsibility of key decision-making bases for the FINMA Executive Board
- Occasional involvement in institution-related topics, e.g., development of resolution strategies
- Representation of FINMA in international working groups of the Financial Stability Board as well as in national committees
Profile
- University degree ideally in economics or law; further training in the financial sector (e.g., auditing, CFA) is an advantage
- Several years of leadership experience as well as experience in cross-departmental collaboration
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a solid economic understanding
- High willingness to shape, curiosity, and readiness to further develop topics
- Leadership competence, team orientation, and audience-appropriate communication
- Very good German (C2) and good English skills (C1)
