Psychogeriatric Nurse
- Nursing diploma, with CRS recognition for diplomas obtained abroad.
- CAS in psychogeriatrics highly desirable.
- If no CAS, extensive and proven professional experience in psychogeriatrics will be considered.
- Experience with elderly people presenting cognitive, behavioural or psychiatric disorders.
- Good ability to manage complex situations and adapt care to residents' needs.
- Empathetic, calm, patient person with excellent listening skills.
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure comprehensive care of residents in a psychogeriatric context.
- Provide nursing care and ensure clinical follow-up.
- Support residents with cognitive, behavioural or psychiatric disorders.
- Observe health status changes and communicate relevant information to the team.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of individualised care plans.
- Collaborate with the entire multidisciplinary team to ensure coherent and appropriate care.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and caring environment for residents.
