You know exactly what speech therapy is really about — not ten minutes at the table and a worksheet to take home. It’s about Mr B. being able to tell his family about his day again after the stroke. About Mrs K. eating safely again despite swallowing difficulties. About someone who had almost given up speaking managing to do so again — because you know where to start. That’s exactly why we exist.

• 08:00 You start with your company car. First appointment in Kleinbasel — client after stroke, aphasia therapy and speech training. You already know him and what’s planned for this week.
• 08:45 Living room instead of therapy cabin. Familiar surroundings, familiar objects — this is where what really matters in everyday life becomes visible. You instruct the wife on exercises between your appointments.
• 10:00 Short drive to Riehen, less than 15 minutes. On the way, you call the occupational therapist — shared client, coordination on communication aid. Tablet or communication board? Decision made together today.
• 10:30 Second appointment. Swallowing training after hospital discharge. You observe the eating situation at home, the consistency of meals, the environment during eating — and immediately know how the progression will look in the coming weeks. You write the report to the health insurance later via app.
• 12:30 Lunch break — you choose where. No canteen table, no briefing in the meeting room.
• 13:30 to 16:30 Three more appointments in Binningen, Allschwil and Bettingen. Voice therapy, speech training, communication support — all in the real everyday life of the clients. You finish at 17:00.

• Mobile speech therapy at clients’ homes — apartment, living room, neighbourhood
• Therapy for aphasia, dysarthria and apraxia of speech after stroke or brain injury
• Swallowing and voice therapy for neurological and age-related complaints
• Instructing relatives — as co-therapists in everyday life between your appointments
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nursing for the same client

• Diploma as a speech therapist or equivalent — recognised in Switzerland
• Driving licence category B — you drive daily between your appointments. Company car including private use provided from day 1.
• Experience with adults — neurology, geriatrics. Paediatrics is a different professional field.
• Independent working — you decide on site, without a boss in the room. The team is reachable by phone but not present.
• You don’t need your own therapy room — your workplace is the client’s home. That’s method, not a compromise.
