Job Description
The IT apprenticeship is possible with us in the two specialisations "Application Development" and "Platform Development".
Application Development:
The versatile apprenticeship for curious tinkerers who enjoy building user-friendly software!
You work actively as part of a team on exciting projects:
- Planning, coding, testing and documenting applications with various programming languages, frameworks and architectures
- Operating, maintaining and expanding existing applications
- Planning, developing and maintaining automated deployment workflows to provide applications on server systems
- Installing, configuring and monitoring server systems
- Ensuring the security and availability of systems and services
- Planning and managing projects in the field of application development
Platform Development:
The versatile apprenticeship for structured problem solvers who enjoy digital construction!
In this apprenticeship, you ensure the smooth operation of the ICT infrastructure:
- Planning, implementing and automating processes and workflows
- Administering servers and networks
- Planning and operating server services and server systems
- Participating in diverse projects
The training lasts 4 years, including 1 year of basic training in our IT training laboratory in Zurich-Oerlikon.
Profile
You are fascinated by computer science, enjoy logical-abstract thinking and have spatial imagination. You enjoy creative problem solving and are not afraid of challenges. Your strong concentration skills as well as your systematic and structured way of working will take you further. In addition, you enjoy teamwork and customer contact.
You need a compulsory school leaving certificate for this apprenticeship and good grades in the following school subjects:
- English
- Mathematics
