Head of Finance and Controlling (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF125,000 - 150,000Role:
In this role, you take overall responsibility for finance and controlling in a dynamic, growing environment and actively shape the company’s financial management. You are responsible for the further development of controlling processes, support strategic decisions, and accompany acquisitions with sound analyses. You use your broad experience to create transparency about financial performance and continuously optimise control instruments. With your entrepreneurial thinking, you sustainably shape the financial direction and ensure that opportunities and risks are recognised early. At the same time, you have the opportunity to continuously develop professionally and personally and actively help shape your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- You take overall responsibility for operational and strategic controlling according to Swiss standards.
- In this role, you ensure meaningful reporting according to OR and support IFRS financial statements.
- You coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as well as budget, forecast, and multi-year planning.
- As Head of Finance and Controlling, you analyse variances, margins, as well as cost and earnings developments and derive concrete recommendations for action.
- You further develop KPIs, management dashboards, and controlling processes and drive their standardisation and optimisation.
- In this role, you work closely with accounting, specialist departments, management, and auditors and actively participate in ERP, BI, and digitalisation projects.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in business administration, finance, controlling, or a comparable qualification (e.g. FH, university)
- Several years of professional experience in controlling (ideally 5+ years) as well as very good knowledge of Swiss accounting law (OR)
- Comprehensive practical experience in cost and performance accounting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, as well as financial and management reporting
- Confident use of Excel and solid experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Abacus, Microsoft Dynamics); experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
- Very good German skills and good English skills, combined with strong analytical and conceptual abilities
- High affinity for numbers and entrepreneurial thinking, paired with an independent, structured, and reliable working style as well as team orientation
