At the DEFI Life House in Boudry - High Intensity Educational Facility, each day is built on attention, coherence and presence. We support adults and minors presenting autism spectrum disorders, psychological or physical disorders, with CHALLENGING behaviours – situations that require a stable framework, a subtle approach and a great capacity for adaptation.
For our Altaï home located in Boudry and our future Aneto home in Lignières, we are looking for a:
The DEFI Life House welcomes people with intellectual disabilities with associated disorders and challenging behaviours that can vary in intensity, sometimes marked, requiring structured, secure and constant supervision. These realities are fully part of daily life and require skills in observation, regulation and fine adjustment.
But to reduce the DEFI Life House to these situations alone would be incomplete. You also intervene in living spaces where individualised projects are built, where each person is considered an actor in their journey, with their aspirations, resources and scope for development. The days alternate between intensive support and more open moments, social activities, shared living times, development of autonomy and participation.
Your mission
- Support beneficiaries in all daily and social life activities.
- Work closely with the socio-educational team and internal networks.
- Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the individualised educational project.
Your profile
- Certified socio-educational assistant training.
- Experience desired with people presenting behavioural disorders.
- Constructive mindset, sense of observation and creativity in action.
- Driving licence required.

This position is a fixed-term contract, potentially renewable with the possibility also of a permanent contract afterwards.
Active since 1967 in the canton of Neuchâtel, the Les Perce-Neige Foundation supports more than 1,000 children, adolescents and adults presenting intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities or autism spectrum disorders every day. Our services extend from socio-educational and pedagogical fields to socio-professional and therapeutic activities.
