The Electricity Distribution Management builds, maintains and operates the electricity distribution network. Thanks to the development of innovative offers, it ensures technological mastery of projects such as the implementation of the smart grid or public lighting.
Mission:
- Develop and update master plans for HV, MV and LV networks based on load and production changes, including analyses and simulations to propose concrete measures
- Manage the portfolio of HV, MV and LV projects: prioritisation with Operations, monitoring budgets and deadlines, drafting study mandates and participating in steering committees
- Plan investments for the development and renewal of networks and contribute to the establishment of annual budgets
- Propose technical solutions for the deployment of smart grids and define necessary reinforcements in connection with new uses (IPE, electric mobility…) by means of electrical network simulations and in coordination with Operations
- Define and keep planning directives up to date, ensure the quality and availability of technical data, and participate in the continuous improvement of the Electricity Distribution Management processes
Profile:
- Engineer training HES/EPFL in electrical engineering, energy field, or equivalent training
- Ideally at least 3 years of experience in distribution networks, with proven practice in project management
- Excellent mastery of technical concepts (network calculations, voltage drops, power, DC current, impedances, etc.)
- Strong skills in basic IT, management tools and Business Intelligence (BI). Knowledge of programming languages in the field of Data Science (e.g. Python) is a plus
- Initiative, autonomy in decision-making, planning skills, analytical and synthesis capacity, ease in contacts
- Full professional command of the French language; good knowledge of German is an asset
