To strengthen our controlling team, we are looking for an experienced individual as Senior Controller for our production site in Kreuzlingen (TG) on Lake Constance. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial management and performance transparency of our operational areas and actively support the further development of our production and logistics processes.
Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the operational controlling of our production and logistics-related areas
- Analysis, evaluation and monitoring of financial as well as process-related key figures in the production environment
- Preparation of regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to support management and investment decisions
- Calculation, analysis and further development of manufacturing costs, overhead cost structures and surcharge rates
- Support of budget and forecast processes in close cooperation with cost centre managers
- Monitoring of material costs, scrap, inventories and value creation along the production chain
- Support of operational areas in cost optimisation, efficiency and lean initiatives
- Responsibility for the inventory process including ensuring inventory accuracy and process compliance
- Management and optimisation of working capital (especially stock levels and capital commitment)
- Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements as well as internal control systems (ICS)
- Active support and accompaniment of internal and external audits
- Identification and implementation of cost optimisation and efficiency improvement measures in close cooperation with production and logistics
- Further development of reporting and analysis tools (e.g. Power BI) for data-based management
Your profile:
- Completed business studies or comparable qualification, ideally with further training in controlling
- Several years of experience in controlling in a production or industrial company, ideally in the packaging or pharmaceutical industry
- Very good understanding of production and logistics processes
- Strong analytical skills as well as a structured, independent working style
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (FI/CO; knowledge of MM/SD is an advantage)
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Experience in Power BI, data analysis and processing of large data volumes is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking, hands-on mentality and strong communication skills
- Enjoy working with operational areas and implementing improvements
