The Mobilière Centre on Resilience at the University of Fribourg focuses on issues related to Switzerland’s capacity to meet future challenges. To this end, it conducts interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research projects aimed at developing concrete, practice-oriented solutions to strengthen resilience. The centre brings together the expertise of researchers from various disciplines.

Your tasks
The Mobilière Centre on Resilience is advertising, for a start on 1 January 2027 for a duration of 2 years, with the possibility of extension thereafter, a position of research assistant professor in integration and implementation.
The post holder supports the management administratively and acts as research coordinator, linking research and practice. He or she:
- Coordinates the centre’s interdisciplinary research activities and serves as the point of contact with Mobilière
- Develops integration and implementation approaches for resilience research and its sustainable application
- Designs innovative "Citizen Science" and "Outreach" activities aimed at interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary teaching and research
Desired profile
- PhD in economics/computer science or a related discipline
- Knowledge in the field of "Resilience and Information Systems Engineering"
- Experience in integration and implementation research
- Experience in collaboration with companies
- Language skills: English, French and German
