About the job

Due to a departure, the Municipality of Saint-Imier is advertising a position for a

social worker and professional curator at 80% (M/F)

Main tasks:

• Support and develop solutions in delicate personal and family situations;
• Advise and support beneficiaries within the framework of social assistance;
• Provide material, administrative and social assistance adapted to the situations encountered;
• Manage guardianship mandates for minors and adults;
• Conduct social investigations;
• Develop and maintain active collaboration with various network partners;
• Provide advisory and preventive roles.

Profile sought:

• Holder of a diploma from a specialised school in social work and experience within a social service is desirable;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good negotiation abilities;
• Stamina and ability to cope with complex situations;
• High autonomy in organising and monitoring work;
• Excellent administrative and accounting skills;
• Good knowledge of social insurance;
• Strong interest in network work;
• Fluent in French, both spoken and written;
• Knowledge of German or other languages is an asset;
• Familiarity with Tutoris software is an asset;
• Category B driving licence.
