What is my function?
Our customer needs a Quality Issues Resolution Manager who coordinates the global resolution of major product quality issues and escalations. You'll lead structured problem-solving using 8D methodology and facilitate cross-functional root cause analysis workshops with engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, and service teams. You'll monitor corrective actions to make sure they actually work before closing cases, and you'll be the go-to person for keeping everyone aligned during field failures and customer complaints. Part of your role is analyzing global quality data to spot systemic weaknesses and drive preventive actions across design, manufacturing, and service processes. You'll also coach regional teams and suppliers on problem-solving tools, help build long-term capability through training programs, and make sure customers get fast responses during escalations. Plus, you'll manage global dashboards and keep leadership updated on performance and financial impact.
What do I need to be successful?

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field

8+ years of experience in product quality, technical support, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or engineering

Solid expertise in 8D methodology and root cause analysis tools like Fishbone, 5-Why, and FMEA

Strong understanding of manufacturing, supplier, and product design processes

Experience managing cross-functional teams and handling global escalations

Great communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to coach others and develop their problem-solving skills

Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards

Willingness to travel internationally about 20-25% of the time, sometimes on short notice

Fluency in English (German and Italian are a nice bonus)

Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is desired but not required
