About the job
La Gruyère Tourisme (LGT) is responsible for the promotion, events, reception, information, and tourism development of the destination. As part of the evolution of its reception, LGT is looking for a highly personable individual, capable of uniting partners, arbitrating diplomatically, and representing the destination. Initially focused on reception and information, the role will evolve into a transversal position between visitors, partners, content, and quality. To support this evolution, we are looking for a:
Partner Relations & Visitor Experience Officer – 90 to 100%
Your mission
Partners and destination quality — approximately 30-40%
- Develop a regular relationship with service providers and animate the network of tourist relays. Identify, qualify, and document experiences with high tourist potential, then pass them on to marketing for structuring and commercialisation.
- Ensure the reliability of disseminated information and support partners in the evolution of the offer, reception, destination quality, and training related to destination knowledge.
- Gather feedback from the field and contribute to the continuous improvement of the visitor experience.
Visitor experience and reception — 40 to 50%
- Ensure reception and advice, handle complex requests, and manage sensitive situations. Market tourist products and guide visitors according to their needs.
- Contribute to monitoring satisfaction and the continuous improvement of the visitor experience.
Destination content & Media and tourism professionals — approximately 20%
- Document experiences and produce practical, clear, and structured content. Feed the knowledge base and provide marketing with reliable and usable material.
- Adapt content to different channels, including digital, conversational tools, and future AI uses, then control quality.
- Design and coordinate welcome programmes for journalists, influencers, and trade. Build itineraries with marketing, incoming, and partners, then ensure preparation and support for certain receptions if needed.
Profile sought
- Training in tourism, hospitality, customer experience, incoming, or equivalent field.
- At least 5 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, incoming, or visitor experience.
- Proven strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create, develop, and arbitrate trustful relationships with visitors, partners, and professionals, as well as a genuine taste for advice and fieldwork.
- Excellent written expression in French and ability to structure clear and reliable information.
- Autonomy, diplomacy, organisation, and credibility to represent La Gruyère Tourisme.
- Comfort with digital tools, databases, and common AI uses.
- Excellent French; operational German and English are essential.
- Occasional availability on weekends, public holidays, or outside usual hours.
- Good knowledge of La Gruyère – a geographical proximity compatible with the job requirements.
