Operational Team Leader Packing Station

The L+S production site is moving from Kloten to Oberbuchsiten. For this important step, we are looking for a committed, strong leadership personality who will actively shape the establishment and further development of the new site. What you will achieve

• You lead and coordinate the daily operations in production and ensure a smooth shift process.
• You allocate staff as needed and ensure that production targets in quantity, quality, and deadlines are met.
• You lead your team both personally and professionally and actively support employees in daily operations.
• You accompany your employees in their workday, promote their professional and personal development, and recognise potential within the team.
• You train employees, professionally support new products, and assist with general capacity coordination.
• You manage, lead, and optimise the production area with a focus on performance enhancement, waste reduction, and quality improvement.
• You independently develop existing processes in your area and drive continuous improvements on the shop floor.
• You ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality guidelines as well as orderliness in the workplace.
• You promote a respectful, team-oriented collaboration and actively embody our culture in daily work life.

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: as a butcher, baker, confectioner, or food technologist, or through a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience: You have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a comparable environment. You bring practical experience in the food sector.
• You have experience in personnel management and know how to lead a small team both professionally and personally.
• Ideally, you bring several years of experience in Lean or continuous improvement.
• You convince with openness to change and good, team-oriented collaboration.
• You have good physical conditions for work in a production environment.
• You are willing to work in a multi-shift operation and to establish the site relocation with a lot of flexibility and a hands-on mentality.
• German (C1)
• French (ADVANTAGEOUS)
