Employee Operative/Strategic Procurement 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Independent material procurement from inquiry to invoice verification based on requirements from the ERP system

• Ensuring timely and cost-effective material availability for production and operations

• Monitoring and tracking orders as well as handling delivery deviations, complaints and 8D reports

• Obtaining and evaluating offers as well as conducting price, condition and contract negotiations

• Support, evaluation and further development of existing suppliers as well as building new national and international partnerships

• Maintenance and updating of ERP, supplier and article data

• Participation in inventories and support of efficient warehouse management

• Involvement in the optimisation of purchasing processes, supplier evaluations as well as Lean and KVP projects

• Close cooperation with production, AVOR and other internal interfaces

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed commercial or technical basic training as well as further training to become a certified purchasing specialist

• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and in a comparable position

• Sound knowledge of ERP systems and confident handling of MS Office

• Experience in negotiating with suppliers as well as in drafting contracts, ideally in the machinery, plant or production environment

• Analytical thinking with a strong strategic orientation

• Excellent German and good English skills

• Analytical and networked thinking as well as a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working

• Communicative personality with negotiation skills, assertiveness and high initiative

• Team player with a can-do mentality and enjoyment in actively shaping processes and driving change
