Location: Plan-les-Ouates (CTN – www.ctn.ch ) Type of position: Full-time

The position

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Technical Manager of Building Installations to ensure the technical management, operation, maintenance and optimisation of the installations of a multi-tenant site with varied and complex technical equipment.

The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience enabling them to carry out technical inspections, surveys, first-level measurements and adjustments, identify malfunctions, plan maintenance operations and coordinate specialised companies.

Training or practical experience in a building trade (electricity, heating, ventilation, sanitation, carpentry, locksmithing, metal construction, site management or equivalent) is a real asset.

We are looking for an autonomous, organised and pragmatic person, with excellent interpersonal skills and capable of ensuring rigorous administrative follow-up (emails, reports, quotes and budgets).

Your main tasks

• Ensure the daily technical management of the buildings.
• Guarantee the proper functioning of technical installations (HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electricity, mechanics, safety and fire protection).
• Carry out technical inspections, surveys, first-level measurements and adjustments.
• Identify malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance. Supervise specialised companies and control the quality of interventions.
• Manage quotes, orders and maintenance budgets while ensuring cost optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations and internal procedures.
• Coordinate repair, renovation and improvement projects of installations. Ensure administrative follow-up and act as the main technical contact for tenants.
• Participate in organising emergency interventions (alarms, security, fire brigade, police, subcontractors) as well as cover weekends, public holidays and holidays.

Your profile

• Proven experience (10 years desired) in technical building management or a similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of building technical installations.
• Experience in coordinating specialised companies.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with common IT tools.
• Fluent French and good level of English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with tenants, partners and technical teams.

Considered assets:

• Technical training (CFC, Brevet, ES, HES or equivalent).
• Experience in commercial, industrial or multi-tenant buildings.
• Knowledge of Swiss building regulations.
