Strategic/Operational Buyer (m/f/d)

About the job

As a two-person power team, you are jointly responsible with your colleague for the entire procurement process, from strategic orientation to smooth day-to-day operations. The foundation of your role lies in operational business, while you simultaneously develop procurement continuously as a tandem.

YOUR TASKS

Operational Purchasing (approx. 70%)

• Ensuring operational procurement in the areas of metal die casting and fittings
• Optimising processes and responsibility for purchasing documentation
• Ensuring smooth information and goods flow with internal interfaces

Strategic Purchasing & Development (approx. 30%)

• Further development of purchasing processes as a two-person team
• Building and developing strategic suppliers, especially in die casting and tool manufacturing
• Conducting supplier evaluations and supplier audits together with QM
• Optimising supplier evaluation and development

YOUR PROFILE

• Mechanical, technical basic training
• Several years of experience in strategic and operational procurement in industrial series business
• Further training in procurement
• Negotiation skills and assertiveness in dealing with suppliers
• Teamwork and strong communication skills
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• IT skills (MS Office / ERP Pro Alpha)
