TasksIn this key position, you take overall responsibility for the Finance and Controlling department and directly lead three controllers and a team leader for financial accounting. The main tasks include:
- Professional, personnel, and organizational leadership of the department
- Preparation of periodic financial statements according to the parent company's requirements (IFRS) and statutory annual financial statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations
- Management of the annual budgeting process and monitoring of financial control systems
- Responsibility for liquidity planning and investment calculations
- Handling all direct and indirect tax matters
- Professional management of projects in accounting and controlling focusing on standardization, digitization, and automation
- Support in managing, monitoring, and optimizing business processes along the value chain
- Preparation of evaluations, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for management
- Organization and coordination of internal and external audits
- Deputizing for the management of Finance & Administration
Requirements
- Completed studies in economics or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a leadership role in finance or as an auditor/controller at management level
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a pragmatic working style
- Solid knowledge of modern ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) as well as the use of digital technologies such as RPA. Understanding how to strategically use data and efficiently design processes through digitization and automation
- Communicative personality with a proactive and empathetic leadership style
- Enjoyment of team-oriented collaboration and constructive participation in cross-departmental committees
- Strategic and process-oriented thinking
- Fluent German in spoken and written form; French and English skills are an advantage
