The starting date is planned for November 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy Unit, attached to the Surgery Department (DC), provides cross-sectional activities in intermediate care and care units of the Surgery (DC) and Cardiovascular (DCV) departments, as well as in the intensive care units and emergency departments of the Interdisciplinary Centres Department (DCI).
The team cares for adult outpatients and inpatients, notably in the fields of cardiac, vascular, thoracic, ENT, urology, visceral, septic surgery, as well as cardiology.
In intensive care and emergency, physiotherapists intervene with patients from all disciplines combined.
Day shifts on weekends and public holidays, as well as a night shift from 17:15 to 08:00 (7/7) for the management of adult respiratory emergencies across the hospital campus, are part of the team’s organisation.

- You have experience or a strong interest in developing skills in acute cardio-respiratory physiotherapy
