You know exactly what speech therapy is really about — not about picture cards on the table and a worksheet to take home. It’s about Mr M. joining the conversation again at the family table, instead of just listening. About Mrs W. drinking her coffee again after the stroke, without anyone standing beside her. About someone who no longer thought it possible being understood again — because you know where to start. That’s exactly why we exist.

• 08:00 You start with your company car. First assignment in District 3 in Wiedikon — client after stroke, aphasia therapy. You already know her, know what’s planned for this week.
• 08:15 Kitchen table instead of therapy room. Lunch is already ready, the diet form is adapted. This is exactly where what really matters in everyday life becomes visible. You observe, correct, instruct the husband for exercises between your visits.
• 09:45 Short drive to District 2 in Enge, less than 15 minutes. On the way you call the nurse — shared client, coordination on dysphagia and diet form. Thickened or pureed? Decision made together, today.
• 10:15 Second assignment. Dysarthria in Parkinson’s. You hear how quiet she becomes on the phone, how quickly the voice disappears in the stairwell — and immediately know how the plan for the next three weeks looks. You write the report to the health insurance later via app.
• 12:30 Lunch break — you choose where. No canteen table, no briefing in the meeting room.
• 13:30 to 16:30 Three more assignments in Hottingen, Seefeld and Aussersihl. Apraxia of speech, swallowing training, voice therapy — all in the real everyday life of the clients. You finish at 17:00.

• Mobile speech therapy at clients’ homes — apartment, kitchen, neighbourhood
• Neurological speech therapy after stroke, trauma and in neurodegenerative diseases — aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech
• Dysphagia therapy in the real living environment — swallowing assessment, diet adaptation, tracheal cannula management together with nursing
• Instructing relatives — as co-therapists in everyday life between your visits
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nursing for the same client, including reports for disability insurance, health insurance and referring doctors — digital, on the go

• Diploma or Master’s in Speech Therapy — recognised in Switzerland
• Driving licence category B — you drive daily between your visits. Company car including private use provided from day 1.
• Experience with adults — neurology and geriatrics. Focus on paediatrics is a different field.
• Independent working — you decide on site, without a boss in the room. The team is reachable by phone, but not present.
• You don’t need your own therapy room — your workplace is the client’s apartment. That’s method, not compromise.
