Expert Nurse in Intensive Care EPD ES at 80%
Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/2026.783 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 80% / Hours: 12-hour shifts + occasionally 7am-4pm and 11am-8pm shifts / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
A member of our team is currently pursuing a new professional training project. To ensure the continuity of excellent care in intensive care, we wish to welcome a certified expert nurse in intensive care EPD ES.
What will you be expected to do?
- Care for patients presenting complex acute situations and ensure continuous clinical monitoring
- Perform nursing care and delegated medical acts rigorously, ensuring their quality, safety and traceability
- Closely monitor the evolution of patients’ health status to prevent and anticipate any complications and adapt care accordingly
- Collaborate and coordinate care with all professionals involved in the patient’s management
- Communicate with patients and their relatives, providing listening, information and support throughout their care
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality and efficiency of care, based on scientific data and skills development
Who will you be working with?
What do we expect from you?
Essentials:
- Hold a HES nursing diploma or one recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Hold a diploma as an expert in intensive care EPD ES recognised by the Swiss Society of Intensive Medicine (SGI-SSMI)
- Have at least three years’ experience in intensive care or resuscitation
- Be able to manage stress in emergency situations
- Have ease in handovers and excellent communication skills with clear and situation-appropriate expression
