6 to 9 Month Assignment - Microsoft 365 Consultant – Data Protection (DLP/DRM)

About the job

As part of our personnel secondment activity, offered in addition to our specialised Data & AI consulting services, Synchrotech is supporting one of its partners in the search for a Microsoft 365 technical-functional Consultant.

With security policies already defined, the objective is to assist the various IT teams in their practical application, reinforce best practices, and prevent data leakage risks.

You will work with several IT teams engaged in different programmes, with a mission combining technical understanding, awareness-raising, and operational support.

Your missions

• Support IT teams in applying data protection rules on their various projects.
• Analyse storage, sharing, and file protection practices to identify any deviations from security rules.
• Raise awareness among teams about data leakage risks and help them adopt best practices.
• Provide technical-functional support on document protection solutions (DLP/DRM).
• Participate in the implementation, testing, and configuration of protection solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve encountered difficulties and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.

Your profile

• Education in computer science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Good knowledge of data protection principles (DLP/DRM), document classification, and access rights management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, or Rights Management would be an advantage.
• Ability to understand technical issues and communicate with various IT teams.
• Good interpersonal skills, pedagogy, and ability to simplify technical topics.
• Curiosity, autonomy, perseverance, and a desire to develop your skills.
