About the job
For our client, an internationally networked service company, we are looking for an experienced individual with broad infrastructure knowledge. You connect Microsoft Cloud Services with a secure network environment and accompany technical improvements from conception to operation.
- You manage the Microsoft Cloud environment with Microsoft 365 and Azure as well as the connected Windows Servers and hybrid directory services
- You ensure reliable site networking and optimise switching, WLAN, VLANs and network segmentation
- You are responsible for secure access through coordinated permissions, network access controls and firewall solutions
- You investigate security alerts and technical faults, initiate appropriate measures and support the service desk with complex cases
- You review new technologies, develop operating concepts and plan updates as well as timely replacement of existing components
- You improve operational processes and further develop the system architecture in terms of availability, security and scalability
- Solid practical experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server and hybrid Active Directory environments
- Experience in building and operating corporate networks including switching, WLAN, firewalls and network segmentation
- Knowledge of network access controls as well as experience with Cisco, Aruba or Barracuda is an advantage
- Ability to recognise technical dependencies and translate requirements into well-thought-out, manageable solutions
- Independent and reliable working style with a strong quality awareness and enjoyment of team exchange
- Experience in professionally guiding project participants and purposefully involving external specialists
- Fluent German and English skills

Profile
- Completed IT training or a comparable qualification with several years of experience in system and network engineering- Solid practical experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server and hybrid Active Directory environments
- Experience in building and operating corporate networks including switching, WLAN, firewalls and network segmentation
- Knowledge of network access controls as well as experience with Cisco, Aruba or Barracuda is an advantage
