At the University Psychiatric Centre Bern AG (UPZ), we support people with mental health challenges in discovering, developing and creating new professional perspectives based on their individual abilities.
We are looking for a committed and open-minded person with a completed EFZ vocational training who is interested in this diverse field of work. Initial experience in accompanying, caring for, advising or guiding people is desirable.
We offer you a meaningful role at the interface between the world of work and the social environment, thorough induction and the opportunity for professional development. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that supports and works with you, as well as a varied working environment with opportunities for creativity and new perspectives.
You do not need to know everything already. What matters is your personality, your motivation and your interest in helping people progress professionally.
Your tasks
- You accompany and support people with mental health challenges in developing their professional perspectives and preparing for the labour market
- You recognise individual strengths and potentials and help to enable suitable professional development steps
- You work closely with job coaches, work educators, the care system and other professionals
- You actively contribute to the search for further work content
- You take on administrative tasks and reliably document your work
Your profile
- A completed EFZ vocational training in a craft or creative field and an interest in working with people
- Enjoyment in accompanying, motivating and empowering people in different life situations
- A respectful, appreciative and patient approach to people
- Openness to collaboration within the UPZ
- Independence, organisational talent and a reliable way of working
- Willingness to engage with topics of mental health, vocational integration and coaching
