Job Description
As a chief clinical officer, with or without a specialty title, you will ensure the psychiatric follow-up of patients/detainees within the service (closed or open environment).
You will work in a demanding clinical setting, at the intersection of care, justice, and security issues, in close collaboration with experienced multidisciplinary teams.
Your approach involves an individualised therapeutic method aimed at stabilising mental disorders, rehabilitating symptoms, and preventing relapse. You contribute to comprehensive care that respects the dignity of individuals and the ethical principles specific to psychiatry in a coercive context. In this role, you work in a coordinated manner with professionals with complementary skills, such as nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and psychomotor therapists.
Alongside your activity, you have the opportunity to complete, if not already done, your integrated postgraduate training contributing to obtaining the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
If you already hold your specialist title, you possess the cantonal practice licence or are able to obtain it before starting the position.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
Experience with detained persons is an asset, and you already have some experience in psychiatry.
As part of your appointment, a police check will be conducted for your assignment in a closed environment.
