About the job
Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring correct, complete and timely billing, especially in more complex billing cases and special topics
- Processing cancellations, re-billings and rejections
- Competent provision of information on fees and tariff regulations to patients, relatives, service providers, guarantors and authorities
- Taking on special tasks within the team, for example for certain specialist areas, tariff areas, control processes or system-related topics
- Participation in quality assurance and compliance with tariff requirements
- Supporting the team management in professional clarifications, controls, evaluations and in the further development of billing
- Support in tests, system adjustments and IT and digitisation projects
Your skills
- Completed training or further education in the commercial field, ideally with experience in healthcare or as a medical practice assistant
- Experience in service billing, ideally in a hospital environment
- Knowledge of hospital tariffs is an advantage or willingness to study in depth
- Experience in dealing with tariff-related issues
- Independent, structured and careful way of working
- Analytical thinking skills as well as a high service orientation
- Teamwork, flexibility and resilience
- High IT affinity and confident handling of various applications, preferably BC, IBI-care, KISIM as well as common Microsoft Office applications
