Girl's Volleyball Coach

The International School of Lausanne (ISL) is a leading not-for-profit, International Baccalaureate (IB) World School set in the French speaking part of Switzerland. Girl's Volleyball Coach

From September 2026 to end June 2027

For our After-School Activities Programme, we are seeking a dynamic and qualified Volleyball Coach to lead our Girls Category A & B teams with students aged 11 to 18 years old.

This is a year-round coaching role across three sporting seasons, once or twice a week, depending on the time of year. Each session lasts between 1h15 and 1h30.

Potential training schedule (there is some flexibility if needed):

• Mondays : 6:45 – 8:00
• Tuesdays : 17:15 – 18:30
• Thursdays : 16:45 – 18:15

The Volleyball Coach will be responsible for planning and leading the High School Girls’ Competitive Volleyball program. Sessions are expected to be conducted to the highest possible standards with developmentally appropriate rigour and physicality.

The team competes locally and internationally throughout the year, and the coach is expected to be fully available for all practices and tournaments, representing the school with professionalism and commitment.

Desired profile

• A recognised qualification in Volleyball coaching.
• Experienced in teaching students aged 11-18 years
• An understanding of holistic based coaching strategies is preferable
• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate sessions which stimulate and motivate students
• Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness
• Adaptability, flexibility and dynamism
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); any other language is an asset
