Local Operations Team Leader
Workplace: Nant de Drance Power Plant, Le Châtelard-Village, municipality of Finhaut (VS)
Your mission:
As a local operations team leader, you supervise and support the availability, reliability and safety of the equipment at the Nant de Drance power plant.
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance work as well as work related to the rehabilitation and renewal of installations
- Support and substitute the local operations manager in organising, planning and directing maintenance and rehabilitation work
- Lead the work and personnel on charge sites
- Place orders for materials and tools
- Ensure the monitoring of technical documentation of installations within the area of activity
- Actively participate in the safety of people, property and the environment and ensure the application and compliance with safety directives and measures
- Provide on-call service (average of 6 weeks per year)
Your skills:
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a mechanical or electrical field or an equivalent profession
- Federal certificate as a maintenance agent or willingness to obtain it
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a hydroelectric facility, industrial production or high voltage field is an asset
- Experience in team management
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Stress resistance, flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Native French speaker with good knowledge of English and/or German is an asset
