About the job
The Intercommunal School Association of Genolier and Surroundings (AISGE) provides day care for children from the municipalities of Arzier-Le Muids, Genolier, Givrins, Saint-Cergue and Trélex.
To strengthen its team, it is looking for a permanent position: After-school Educational Assistant (UAPE) 50–60% + educational activity rate to be agreed
Start date: to be agreed
Your mission
In collaboration with the After-school Service Management, you will provide pedagogical and organisational support to the educational team. You will divide your time between assistant educational duties and presence on the ground with the children.
In this capacity, you will notably be required to:
- Support and assist the educational team in their daily practice;
- Participate in the organisation and smooth running of the structure;
- Ensure quality care, promoting the well-being, safety and development of the children;
- Develop a trusting collaboration with families and partners;
- Participate in the implementation of the educational project and the continuous improvement of services;
- Provide educational support to children as an educator during part of your working time.
Your profile
You are a committed, dynamic and unifying person, capable of supporting a team while placing the child at the centre of your concerns.
You have the following qualifications and skills:
- Recognised ES or HES educator diploma, or equivalent qualification;
- At least four years of professional experience after obtaining the diploma;
- Experience in supporting or coordinating a team is an asset;
- Training in team management or project management (an asset) or willingness to train;
- Good interpersonal skills, sense of listening and communication;
- Leadership, organisational skills, autonomy and team spirit.
