Tasks
As we are offering two positions at this level simultaneously, we also look forward to teachers who know each other from their studies and want to embark on their professional careers with us together.
You take on the important role of class teacher and teach the subject range of the level excluding mathematics, music, art and crafts. Additionally, you take on the French lessons in the parallel class, resulting in the following lesson distribution:
4 NMG, 5 German, 8 French in half classes, 4 English in half classes, 1.5 Media & IT, 2 PE, 2 swimming, 1 learning space. We wish for a person with presence who leads their own class with joy and commitment.
Requirements
You are an empathetic, clear, patient and motivated teacher who values working in mixed classes. You already hold a teaching diploma and can therefore competently plan and conduct your lessons. Close teamwork and building relationships with the children are important to you. You also enjoy planning your lessons outside the classroom and organise a ski camp every other school year together with the level team.

Additionally, we are allowed to use our indoor swimming pool at lunchtime for sporting balance – when Lake Biel, on which our beautiful community lies, is just too cold for swimming. We also motivate each other to be more active in everyday life, for example by participating in Bike to Work. Our drivers are not forgotten either: we offer free parking spaces.
