About the job
The Galvaswiss Group is the market leader for industrial corrosion protection and industrial painting. For our location in Pratteln with approximately 60 employees, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a practical and strong leadership professional who works close to production and takes responsibility.
What is crucial for us is a skilled technical vocational training, experience in production operations, and the ability to lead a team in a motivating manner. We provide internal training in our coating plants.
Head of Powder Coating (m/f/d) - 100%
Your tasks:
- Leadership, allocation and support of our production team for powder coating and painting of metal parts in the paint booth
- Presence in production: instruction and control of work execution and hands-on support during bottlenecks
- Daily and deadline planning of orders
- Ensuring quality, coating thickness, surface finish and customer specifications
- Early information and consultation with customers regarding scheduling or quality issues
- Management of powder and material inventory
- Improvement of processes, tools and production aids
What you bring:
- Skilled or technical vocational training, e.g. in construction trades, mechanics, or comparable; quality-conscious and independent working style, even under increased pressure
- Leadership experience with a small production team
- Quality awareness and attention to clean, precise work execution
- Clear, respectful communication with employees and customers
- Willingness to support hands-on during bottlenecks
- Experience in powder coating or industrial painting is an advantage, but not a requirement

- An independent leadership role with short decision-making paths
- Approximately 70–80% in production, about 20–30% planning, administration and customer consultation
- A manageable team of around 15 employees
- Internal introduction and training in our other coating plants
