Key Account Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- You will manage and develop important existing customers with a focus on medium to large customers in technical, qualitative, and commercial aspects
- You will identify new potential customers in known and new markets and develop sustainable business models from them.
- You will lead demanding customer projects and special tasks both domestically and internationally, from solution finding to proposal submission to contract fulfillment
- You will coordinate complaints, technical clarifications, and cross-departmental agreements in close collaboration with engineering, quality, and production
- You will analyze trends and competitors, establish partnerships in low-cost countries, and provide impulses for the further development of the sales concept
- You will assist with forecasting, cash collection, CRM maintenance, and the operational implementation of country-specific sales strategies
Your profile
- You have a solid technical or business-related education (e.g., technician HF, industrial engineer, or technically skilled merchant)
- You have at least five years of professional experience in an industrial environment (printed circuit boards, electronics, or engineering) – ideally with an international focus
- You bring proven experience in project management and matrix organizations – combined with a confident and trustworthy demeanor with customers
- You have very good English skills in spoken and written form, including technical terminology in electronics – additional languages are a plus
- You communicate clearly, solution-oriented, and on an equal footing – both with customers and internally within the team
- You convince through initiative, technical curiosity, negotiation skills, as well as perseverance and flexibility in the international sales environment
