The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The main missions of this position are
Your Responsibilities
- Define and implement the organisational strategy of the unit, integrating quality, efficiency and evolving needs across our 3 sites
- Manage and optimise activities; bio-cleaning, linen management, workwear management via the automatic clothing dispenser, management of on-call rooms as well as support and disposal of healthcare waste in accordance with current regulations
- Supervise, support and develop a team of proximity managers (4.8 FTE) as well as all unit collaborators (83 FTE), with the support of an administrative assistant
- Ensure high-level services for patients and staff, strictly respecting hospital hygiene standards
- Manage the pool sector (staff who cover long-term absences in various sectors)
- Develop a quality culture based on performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous process improvement
- Lead change in an evolving environment and contribute to cross-institutional projects
We require
Your profile
- Federal certificate in stewardship or equivalent training
- Additional management training desired
- Training in environmental/waste management desired
- Excellent knowledge of the hospital environment and hospital hygiene requirements
- Proven experience in managing large teams and leading change
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Excellent command of French (spoken and written), with strong writing skills
- Comfortable using common IT tools (Microsoft Office)
