About the job
The Cantonal Health Centre Appenzell ensures high-quality healthcare and care in old age for the population of Appenzell and Innerrhoden. An important aspect is meeting the demand for inpatient beds for people who temporarily require professional care – whether during or after an acute illness, for short-term needs for more intensive care, after an inpatient procedure in a central hospital, or to accompany in the final phase of life. This is made possible by the short-term and transitional care Sonnwendlig.
For our team, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Responsibility for the entire nursing process including carrying out a holistic assessment and care planning with continuous evaluation
- Experience in palliative care
- Taking on the demanding care and support of patients and their relatives
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with general practitioners, therapists, and other departments of the Cantonal Health Centre Appenzell
- Quality assurance and further development of nursing
- Responsibility for the implementation of nursing technical measures
- Active development and implementation of concepts
Your profile
- Completed training as a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF
- Professional experience in long-term care is an advantage
- Communicative and decisive person who appreciates working with older people
- Enjoys working independently
- Good German language skills
- Good PC user skills (experience with BESA is an advantage)
