Identification and assessment of new suppliers and sources
Conducting price and contract negotiations with existing and new partners
Development of strategies for defined raw material groups and procurement markets
Coordination of supplier qualification with quality assurance and production
Monitoring the entire procurement process from requirement to invoice verification
Evaluation of market changes, prices and availability
Maintaining existing business relationships and regular supplier evaluations
Participation in purchasing projects and cross-departmental initiatives
Qualifications:
Degree or training in chemistry, pharmacy, life sciences or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing or supplier management
Knowledge of a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment
Understanding of business contexts and procurement processes
Confident negotiation skills and strong analytical ability
Independent, structured and reliable working style
Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
Very good German skills and good English skills
