For our central sterilisation unit integrated in the operating theatre, we are looking for a
Team Leader Central Sterilisation AEMP (80 - 100 %)
Your Challenge
- Professional and personnel management of four employees in central sterilisation
- Revision of instrument packing schemes and work instructions
- Creation and updating of standards and guidelines
- Repair management of instruments
- Proper pre- and post-processing as well as care and sterilisation of instruments and materials for the operating area and wards, taking into account legal requirements and quality standards
- Qualified operation of existing devices (RDG, sterilizers, pass-through sealing devices, steamers, etc.) including routine checks
- Assembly of operating theatre instrument trays, sets and individual items
- Management of stock for sterile and non-sterile materials
- Documentation, compilation and release of loan instruments
Your Profile
- Training as a medical device technologist or full fulfilment of the requirements and knowledge of sterilisation assistant expertise II or management course AEMP (including validation course)
- Several years of solid professional experience in a central sterilisation unit
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Good knowledge of instruments including their use and function
- Sound knowledge of batch documentation software
- Committed, responsible and team-oriented working style
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Very good PC skills
- Integrative personality with good prerequisites for working in a small team and a friendly manner with different stakeholders
- Willingness to work on-call duties at weekends and public holidays
