About the job
The Solothurn Centre Oberwald Foundation supports, accompanies and promotes people with disabilities of all age groups as a result of congenital and acquired impairments, illnesses and accidents in a targeted and individual manner. This takes place at locations in Biberist and Zuchwil. Across the entire foundation, around 200 employees are consistently committed to preserving, further developing and regaining valuable skills – for an inclusive life and participation in society.
At our location in Biberist, we offer a training place in the catering department starting 01.08.2027.

These are the tasks you will take on
- You will learn the production, preparation and presentation of food and dishes
- You will apply various cooking techniques and avoid food waste
- You will adhere to hygiene regulations, accident prevention rules and instructions
- You will work cross-functionally with other departments
- You will participate in various internal and external events
What you bring with you
- You enjoy working with food
- You have completed compulsory schooling
- You are good with people and are physically and mentally resilient
- You are flexible, patient, respectful and curious
- You have good oral and written German skills as well as IT knowledge
- You are willing to work irregular hours
