Introduction
The UNIL-EPFL Continuing Education (FCUE) is a foundation that brings together the continuing education activities of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). It offers professionals and companies more than 300 courses in diverse fields such as: Science & Technology, Health-Social, Humanities, Management, Economics & Law, and Public Administration.
Presentation
To complete its team, the FCUE is looking for a programme coordinator for the interuniversity continuing education courses in Management, Human Resources and Careers (MRHC) at 60%.
Job Information
Start date: 1 January 2027 or to be agreed
Contract duration: one year, renewable (and potentially evolving into a permanent contract)
Work rate: 60%
Workplace: Dorigny Campus with possibility of remote work
Your Activities
Under the functional authority of the Chair of the Training Steering Committee, delegated to the Executive Director, you ensure the coordination and management of training programmes, as well as the supervision of participants and speakers.
Your main tasks are as follows:
• Development of the course and workshop calendar
• Monitoring the various stages of the training
• Organisation of the Steering Committee and/or Training Committee meetings
• Preparation of the agenda and taking minutes
• Management of registrations and participants for the MAS and CAS
◦ Responding to information requests from MAS and CAS candidates
◦ Managing and monitoring registrations of MAS and CAS candidates
◦ Monitoring MAS and CAS participants
◦ Communicating information about the programme progress
◦ Being available for participant enquiries
• Management of MAS and CAS speakers:
◦ Drafting and monitoring contracts
◦ Preparing expense sheets and monitoring payments
◦ Organising speakers’ stays if necessary
◦ Being available for their requests
- Promoting the programme in collaboration with the FCUE
- Maintaining relations with the FCUE and partners of the MAS and CAS continuing education programmes (UNIFR, UNINE, UNIGE)
Your Profile
We wish to recruit, to complete our team, a person with the following profile:
- University education
- Knowledge in the field of education and the relevant diploma
- Experience in administrative management
- Very good planning and organisational skills
- Methodical mindset and precision
- Excellent command of IT tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent writing skills in French
