Product Purchasing Manager Outdoor, Personalcare, Coffee & Kitchen 80-100%
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the holistic market and results development of the product areas Outdoor, Personalcare, Coffee & Kitchen and ensure the achievement of procurement, market share, sales, profitability, and quality targets.
- As a member of the management team, you actively shape the category strategy and business plan and drive their implementation forward.
- Together with your Purchasing Managers, you continuously develop the assortments and ensure an optimal price-performance ratio focusing on the needs of Swiss consumers.
- You develop and implement a comprehensive promotions plan across relevant sales channels (POS and online) in coordination with the category management.
- You maintain national and international supplier relationships and conduct negotiations to ensure attractive conditions and a competitive assortment.
- You bear the economic responsibility for your area, analyse relevant KPIs, and derive targeted optimisation measures.
- You monitor trends and competitive developments and develop your Purchasing Managers in a goal- and results-oriented manner.
Requirements
- You have a strong affinity for home electronics / non-food and necessarily bring experience in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce.
- You have a commercial basic education with business management further training or a business management degree.
- You have at least five years of experience in a comparable position as well as leadership experience.
- You have fluent German skills and good English skills; French skills are an advantage.
- You have good MS Office skills as well as solid experience in handling SAP.
- You think customer- and solution-oriented and convince through high commitment and willingness to learn.
- You work independently, reliably, analytically, and team-oriented.
