Debt Enforcement Inspectorate
You ensure that the debt enforcement and municipal bailiff offices in the Canton of Zurich operate correctly and uniformly, acting as an auditor, contact person, and trainer all at once.
The High Court of the Canton of Zurich is the appellate authority in civil and criminal matters, includes the Commercial Court, and is responsible for the judicial administration of the Zurich civil and criminal courts as well as the notarial system.

The Debt Enforcement Inspectorate is attached to the administrative commission of the High Court and exercises professional supervision over the debt enforcement and municipal bailiff offices of the Canton of Zurich. From 1 February 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a
Deputy of the Debt Enforcement Inspector (80-100%)
Your area of responsibility
- Regular inspections of the debt enforcement and municipal bailiff offices, in particular checking official business and auditing the accounting.
- Leading projects as well as participating in them.
- Providing professional assistance to offices, telephone and written legal advice.
- Co-responsibility for the contemporary training and further education of debt enforcement officers.
Your profile
- Commercial basic training, with a Federal Specialist Certificate in Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy, equivalent training, or a legal education (BLaw, MLaw).
- Several years of professional experience in a debt enforcement and municipal bailiff office in the Canton of Zurich.
- In-depth legal knowledge in the area of debt enforcement and related legal fields.
- Outgoing, reliable, and solution-oriented personality with an efficient working style.
- Assertiveness, quick comprehension, and sound IT skills.
